No, not really
Easy one. Anything you might want to do in relation to Scottish Gaelic you can achieve with the normal out-of-the-box hardware you got when you bought your system, whether that’s a Windows, Linux or iOS machine.
The only exception are things like SMART™ Digital Whiteboards (if you’re a school) or Penfriend which require special hardware because of they way they work in general (i.e. you need the digital whiteboard before you can do anything, whatever the language).
